Words... some of them mean stuff

How is everyone?

I'm pretty sore. Yesterday I marched in the Seattle Pride parade, wearing boots that I found out too late were a bit too small for me. Didn't stop me from having a great time helping to escort the Flying Spaghetti Monster, though! :)
Afterwards, the Flophouse (Sierra, JJ, and Andrew) accompanied Kat and I to a place called Rob Roy. Excellent drinks! Great tasting nibbles! A smidge overpriced, but all in all, a good place with a bunch of pretty cool people... and they garnish their urinals!!
Didn't get around to heading over to the Pike Place Market, like I wanted to. That'll have to wait for another weekend.
Later, on the way home, we stopped by Zoopa for dinner. I love that place.

The day before, saw Kat and I out at the Taste of Tacoma, then swinging by our favorite book store to pick up a few more books that we don't really have any room for. Oh well, we gotta have our books, so whatcha gonna do, right?

I think I'm liking the tv show The Gates. Not bad so far, but we'll see. *shrug*

My work has finally approved my requested days of to attend Seadogs, so I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully the weather will be much better than at All's Faire (all my garb was totally soaked by the rain, but had taken on the wonderful smell of campfire... a bright side to everything, right?).

Still trying to figure out exactly what we're doing for the Fourth of July. Tacoma? Steilacoom? Something else? Suggestions?

My mom has volunteered me to help set-up her friend's (actually a close friend of the family/practically family herself) computer and teach her how to use it. I was successfully bribed with a one terabyte, external hard drive. This ought to be frustrating as all hell.

Anywho, I now return you all to your regularly scheduled programming. :)

I read a while back that if you put an object in the urinal, there's less spillage, as guys like to aim at it--not only that, but if there's a fly etched in the urinal, guys will aim at that, and the more realistic the etching, the less spillage occurs!

(My memory may be exagerrating)

I read that same thing! :)
This, however, wasn't merely a little garnish... no, this was a full on citrus fruit cocktail. It was excellent. There is a picture. I will post it when I get around to uploading it.

You, sir, suck for not coming to my 30th birthday party on Friday night. :-)

Oh shit, that was this last Friday?!
*my datebook confirms it* that really sucks.

I hope you had a great birthday party! Both days of it!!

It was a good time actually. The last of the people who didn't crash at my place didn't leave until about 4am. Then we didn't crash until about 5. Then the next night was a lot of fun too, and into the following day.

3 days of party for 3 decades of life? lol

We're lj-friends, but I honestly can't say that we've ever met in meatspace.

Funny, but Kat and I were contemplating defecting over to the goth contingency for the parade. However, the goths are always well represented, and it would have left the Flying Spaghetti Monster a little short on escorts.
